Dynamis X

so this is what (or who) we did last dynamis:

getting ready and getting soul voiced:

less than 30 seconds later:

and these were the drops:

and this came from the purple taru:

there were also other drops:

even though i didn't get it, but thanks anyway:

not dynamis without a wipe:

my other dynamis ls, the jp one, cleared dynamis-jeuno last night. when i said cleared, i meant we killed every mobs, including repops after the boss. with around 20 minutes to spare. well, i'm just happy we ended the run early.

limbus utltima

on this run, our ls decided to try something different: dual tanking between a rdm and a pld. our usual pld came as rdm on this run, and i get to come as mnk for the first time.

funny thing is: i didn't realize i was mnk/thf until we entered. i've changed to /thf for key hunt the night before, and forgot to change it back. anyway, the result was quite surprising. our pld ended up dying from citadel buster, while our rdm tank took hate and survived a couple of citadel busters.

here's the famous elvaan ninjitsu stance: go go HG Guliphis!

getting terrored:

and thanks to my amazing treasure hunter one, these were the drops:

grats to Courtney and Kuku:

And guess who outparse everyone else in damage? the mnk/thf -_- i was careful not to get hate, since i had no shadows. The tanks did a very good job at keeping hate, i think i only got hate like once. Toward the end, i didn't melee to prevent ultima from getting tp. yet i still came out on top.

after limbus was our usual ENM run, this was while we were waiting for other members to get here: (kinda funny if u understand japanese)

we killed it right when i got charmed, too bad can't kill any friends tonight.

we ended up getting 2 maneaters, and some other stuff. all in all, it was a good night.

i hope i get to try nin/drk next time we do ultima/omega, but our conservative ls ldr is kinda reluctant. oh well, that's it for now. i have so much stuff to write about, and stuff are beginning to pile up. -_- not sure when the next update will be, nor the next topic. hopefully it will be soon though.

mandy hats

RDM AF2 4/5

today's af2 drop in dynamis-beaucedine:

we had a 2 or 3, rng, bst, war drops, and only 1 smn, brd, nin, whm drops. We only had 2 thf attending today, and it was earthday. -_- so go figures on SE's drop rate.

and on the last mob before the boss:

now i'm only need the hat to complete the set.

someone decided to melee all the orc NMs, and as a result:

for some reason, i evaded and ended up getting attacked by the whole LS.

even though i got killed by masa, i did counter him once. -_-

Waiting for Dynamis

eager girls waitng for dynamis to start

Dynamis and AF

some dynamis drops:

New rule in my jp ls: the 4th 100 on will be freelot. We ended up getting 6 100 on that run. On a side note, i got my sam af hand and af2 hand on the same day. (^o^)/ we got like 3 sam af, 3 drk, and some other drops. i guess SE really want ppl to level ace jobs. -_-

getting mimi's brd af2

taru discussion: who's getting the loot?

Limbus and ENM

Yesterday's limbus went without much trouble.but the ENM after... i'll let the pix do the talking:

We had 2 teams which went in separately. the first team got blau dolch, but the second team wiped caused the mob kept on charming our members. Well, Nightmare killed most of our pts, and we had to HP.

We'll be doing omega and ultima for the next 3 weeks. hopefully i can finally get the rest of the homan set. Anyway, here are some un.... pix from the out limbus run.

here's me beaming down from the mothership:

This is the day RMT got owned in the face.

Besides adding new missions, new gears, and new system, SE countered RMT with one of their best updates.

Basically, SE took all the "big" sellable items from small NMs (small meaning u can take it down w/ 1 to 3 ppl) and put them in BCs or make the NM drop rare/ex items. Not to mention SE also made some of the most famous (notorious) NM forced-pop.

big items like speed belt, ochi kote, fuma, e-bow, cross-counter now have a rare/ex version.

cassie earring, serket ring, juggernaut are now obtainable through BC.

Big Bomb (horrent mace lol), Alkyoneus, Pallas, Sozu Rogberry (thf knife), Ullikummi (autumn stone) are now forced popped.

Well done SE, Well Done.

Dynamis-Beaucedine

I was debating if i should write about salvage or dynamis next. But something happened last night that tip the scale, so i guess i'll be writing about dynamis first then. Anyway, the highlight of last night's dynamis was the following:

Charmga ftw!!
Maybe they should add that to strengthen bst in the future. This rarely happens on my tuesday dynamis linkshell, since the ldr runs a tight ship and he doesn't like ppl messing around. We usually sleep/nuke the orc NMs for the above reason. But it's always fun to get charmed and try to kill some of ur friends.

Since one of our usual thf came as rdm last night to replace another rdm -_-;;; the drop rate kinda sucked. That usual thf (jaid) had thf gloves and thf knife. so that's like 4 treasure hunter down the drain. (-ω-) anway, these were our drops:

the blm af2 dropped like in the first 5 minutes of the run, while the war af2 dropped toward the end of the run. so for like the 3 hours inbetween...... thank you SE.

I'm in two dynamis linkshells, one JP ls (Destiny) and the other NA ls (Loveless/Limitless). I was in loveless/limitless ever since it started, so it has been like 3 years i think. Destiny was about 1.5 year. Funny thing is, i've gotten most of my "better" af2 from the JP ls, like pld body, nin hands/body. i think it's because of 2 reasons: the JP ls does a lot more beau/xac and they have more thfs. I wish loveless/limitless would do more beau/xac, but it's kinda impossible since there are like 4 other LS running at the same time. -_-

However, i enjoy the NA run more sometimes, simply because my english is a LOT better than japanese. So i was able to communicate/understand better. It's always fun to joke around with those people. In the JP ls, it would be harder with my broken japanese. And since most of my english-speaking friends in that LS no longer attend dynamis, i spoke less and less during events. I think there are 5 people left that speaks english in the JP ls. (’；ω；‘) . I do miss those people, it's a shame i probably won't see them anymore.

anyway, that's it for now. More on ffxi later.

RNG to 37

On feb 1st, i finally got my rng to 37 (for sam sub). basically i've been duoing with a brd from lv 11 on. i think i've had a few pts on the way. but since my hours have been erratic due to work, i couldn't really get into any pts.
Rng was really fun, i think i'll be coming back for some more rng after i get my sam (my next goal) to 75. brds truely are the gods of parties. With double minuet, i could kill lotsa stuff (t, vt, it) with ease. i really recommend long bows for their high dmg, even though their delay kinda sucks. u basically get an upgrade of longbows every 10 levels. i think i'll start using guns when i start the gun WS quest, lol.

That's it for now. look for some old-school posts/pictures in the following posts. there are some catching up for me to do.

some noobie pictures from my rng:
